- A testimony of the intense emotion aroused by the massacres of Armenians in the late nineteenth century. In Switzerland, a petition had collected nearly a half million signatures to draw the authorities' attention to the 1896 massacres.

- Report presented to the International Socialist Congress of Hamburg. After two years of independent existence, Armenia was again divided between the Turks and the Russians, and as the Entente Powers renounced their commitments to the Armenians, the people were abandoned to their fate.
