First-hand account of a WWI incident of Nazi Germans burning books in the Louvain University Library in the Flemish region of Belgium. Louvain is also spelled Leuven.

The Belgian judicial report paints a different picture, saying that German soldiers committed a "premediated assault" on Louvain.
